before i discovered the universe of colours and print, i actually primarily stuck to black, gray, white and navy. prints were rare until i met ms. I who changed all that. i wore this to work, but for a weekend look, i would switch out the dress pants to cropped leggings and flats, à la audrey hepburn. the sparkles in the outfit are from my necklaces, stacked little presents from my girls I and K, and my colleagues at work, who are also dear friends. i recently pinned a quote that said "friends are family you choose" and that couldn't be more true.
i'm also really excited that one of my favourite bloggers Jana at chic sicily asked me to share in her "what's in my bag" series where you get to see all of the stuff i

I love it Phiphi! Simple is the best sometimes an d I have the same fashion story as you but now I find myself gravitating back to simpler palette. This kind of outfit draws attention to the wearer rather than clothes. I am sure it looks even better IRL with your face 'in the picture' :)
ReplyDeletethank you so much ajc - you are so sweet. i like simple palettes too but have really enjoyed branching out with colour and prints. it's a nice balance. xox
DeleteGorgeous stacked necklaces P!! Sometimes simple is the best and it can stand out (ironically) admist all the patterns and color. Simple can be chic....something I'm rediscovering. Oh your weekend outfit a la Audrey Hepburn sounds fabulous!! xoxo, Phoebe

DeleteI try to incorporate as much color as I can into my wardrobe, but fewer things are classier and more sophisticated than all black. You look lovely.
