statement ring and a few contests

a statement ring is a fun way to bring an unexpected element to an outfit. while i love the YSL arty ring - the king of statement rings, (on sale here), i have never been able to try one on in real life. i was reluctant at first, because i was afraid they'd be too "loud". however, it has been fun disproving that notion, and i really enjoy incorporating rings into my outfits. many i've worn here are from social experiment, a lovely etsy seller who creates unique and affordable statement pieces with stunning natural stones. use code SOCIALEXPERIMENTXMAS for 15% off your purchase.

p.s. don't forget to enter the giveaway for a gorgeous oval link necklace from Christina M boutique - the draw is tomorrow! t+j designs also has a contest (see info at the bottom of this post).

i'm currently coveting this beautiful large peruvian pink opal cocktail ring, here. with the discount code i may just do it!

i've had good luck at aldo and forever 21 for fun rings as well as winners (the canadian version of marshall's). there are so many cute options out there.

i bought this adorable ring below, for my sister from forever 21. she's always saying how she wants more accessories in her life but doesn't know what to get. so, when i'm out and about and see something cute, i pick it up for her.

jen and tiffany at t+j designs also have lovely statement rings on their site and have a great contest going too!

  7. I always wear the same two small gold rings one was a gift from my mother and the other from my husband (not wedding/engagement). I love the look on you (especially the turquoise ones) but bigger rings bother me when I work on the computer all day.

  8. I love statement rings. I have the YSL artsy and a few McQ oversized rings...although sometimes I think they were a bit pricey and that I could have spent less on something just as fabulous...especially because I've worn them all a total of like 3 times each!
