the mailbox has been brimming with cards and gifts from my friends and family. it is a great time of year, as my friends are receiving their cards and gifts from me too. i confess that i open my presents as soon as they come through the door. there is not one shred of patience in me to wait. thankfully, my friends understand (and they do the same too!). i'm wearing the j. crew crystal mix necklace my fabulous friend J sent to me. it is just so spectacular i couldn't let it sit unattended under the tree. we were also chatting a few days ago about stacking necklaces, so this outfit is inspired by her.

i tell my friends all the time, and hope they know that their friendship is the best gift i could ever ask for. i'm surrounded by beautiful people - inside and out - and count my blessings for that every day. have a great weekend everyone!

i also received this insanely pretty frame from my amazing friend M. it will house a picture of my two boys and sit on my desk at work. this will definitely spruce up my office space!
