feeling tall

there are some clothes that make you look long and lean, but is it weird that when i wear these pants in particular, i feel tall? a pair of pants giving you a sense of height - no small feat for a petite (pun, very much intended!). these perception-altering trousers are the stovepipe trousers from j. crew. i took them in my regular j. crew bottoms size, though i've read that some sized up. i may get the navy, but will be really pleased if it comes out in another pattern. the inseam is 32 inches, meaning they are perfect un-hemmed for heels. ok, maybe they're 4 inch heels. but i don't have to hem them! :happy lazy dances:

    I love patterned wool pants, it's the winter classic.
    I actually have big troubles finding pants that would fit me, but
    recently I bought this great Céline wool and leather pants and I am over the moon with it:)

  19. phiphi i'm obsessed with those pants! so so cute - well the whole outfit is great but i need those pants. although i'm terrible at dressing up - i'm either in a skirt for church or jeans for school... i find it hard to get pants that are dressy to be the right length so the bottoms don't get ruined. i'm a little over 5'4" ... but you're 5'3" and rock it so i should get over myself and try it :) - glad that i found your cute blog through the hop and excited to be your newest follower (stalker might be slightly more appropriate :P).
