this summer, the 80's were back with neon, and it is one element that found a way into my "classic with a twist" style easily. the tippi sweater is perfect for layering and transitioning to fall so i'm going to be wearing this well into fall and winter (you can get a similar one for an extra 30% off with the LOVEIT code - thanks alexis at jcrewaficionada who posted that this code is good til tomorrow). this adorable houndstooth skirt is from joe fresh, and it also came in a dress. it is just enough print in the mini version. the dress is super cute but the print would be a bit overwhelming on a petite frame. also, the fabric is pretty substantial, so it was a bit heavy if you had to wear it as a whole dress. bonus points for the pockets! what is it with my fascination with pockets!

DeleteHoundstooth is one of my favorite patterns, in addition to polka dots! This is a gorgeous skirt on you phiphi! Living in Southern California I feel like a lot of spring/summer trends are easily transferable to fall/winter.
